It was just over a year ago now that I, Missy Mercedes, came to my new FOREVER HOME "Just North of Wiarton & South of the Checkerboard".  Um, that might not be right as we could move some day, so maybe it should be rephrased to say "live with our "FOREVER HUMANS" ????  That sounds about right.

I am getting to be a big girl now, as a whole Year and a bit has passed now.  I LOVE my FOREVER HUMANS, Cindy and Rob, as well as Bandit, Lexus and Buddy.  However Lexus and I tend to "get into it" from time to time, but girls will be girls as you well know.

Buddy is still a little rammy for me, but that is because he didn't begin life with our FOREVER HUMANS like the rest of us did.  *Sigh* I am sure he will adjust eventually, as you do know how boys can be, don't you?

Bandit? well he is just a big old push over.  Everyone knows that, don't they?

Our Human Dad, Rob, is The "Crabby Cabby".  He always has an Van as his totally "awesome" Crabby Cabbie vehicle and we ....

".... all jump in it every chance we get."

Us "Checkerboard Aussies" LOVE us some rides out and about the country side, or even a quick jaunt into town and back would suit us just fine.

My Brother Came A Visiting

"My Humans and I were pretty "Over the Moon" last night, as my human brother, Paul, came to visit us.  I always give him one of my biggest smiles.  He was pretty tired as it had been pretty late when he had arrived, so we really didn't get any quality play time in together."

"This morning had been a totally different story, as we were all happy happy to "hang together".  We even got outside to do a bit of catching and fetching together, of course after a bit of bonding went down first."

The Face of Innocence

"This is Bandit,who is of course the Top Dog around our place.  See that look of innocence? do not trust it as since he has been feeling better the past couple of weeks he has been a "huge" pain in the butt.  Our dear Lexus girl in now in a "heat" cycle, causing our Top Dog much grief of almost going out of his mind, and giving cause to me almost going out of my mind with his pining and whining.  The look of innocence here can be quite deceitful.  Ha !  I am please to announce, that after today we should have two proud "Checkerboard Aussie" parents by the first part of February."
