"Between the time I had retired to bed last night with 6 pups having had been born, and my hubby, Rob, waking me to come look at 8 pups at 1:30 am ... it had been a long night resulting in 8 healthy puppies and one really happy Mama Mercedes."
"This morning was clean-up time with them all gently placed onto a towel into a recycling box while Bandit babysat. He is the best babysitter we have around here."

"Four babies had already been purchased by 1 pm this afternoon. From Everything 8 down to then there were Three."
"With the whelping box all sanitized and clean, Mama Mercedes went back in to do her thing, which she is doing very well."

Mercedes had only two girls. One was the blue merle with the most white around neck and a red merle. The blue merle is our baby. Her name is Trixie :) they are beautiful colours though. have a bit of everything!
